Chal Buddy is built so that everyone feels comfortable, from the first message to the moment you say goodbye.

Verified companions

Every companion verifies their ID through DigiLocker, matches a live selfie, adds their PAN and a bank account in their own name, and passes our safety training.

Verified customers

Customers verify their ID with a selfie before their first in-person meetup.

Public places only

Meetups happen only at approved public places such as cafés, malls and cinema lobbies, between 9 am and 9 pm. Never at homes or hotels.

Check-in codes and SOS

Both people check in with a code in the Chal Buddy app. The SOS button alerts our safety team and your trusted contacts with your location, with one tap to call 112.

Safety check-ins

During each meetup the app quietly asks if you are OK. If there is no answer, our safety team follows up.

Trusted contacts

Share your live meetup status with someone you trust.

Safe payments

Pay only through Chal Buddy. Your money is held and the companion is paid only after the meetup.

No contact sharing

Chat blocks phone numbers, social media handles and requests to pay outside Chal Buddy, so everyone stays protected.

Report and block

Report or block anyone, anytime. Serious reports pause the account straight away until our team reviews it.

Strictly platonic

Chal Buddy is company for activities, nothing more. Any request for physical contact beyond a handshake, or for anything outside the booked activity, leads to a permanent ban.
